Questions or concerns may arise regarding your financial needs due to your hospital stay. Our Patient Accounting personnel are available to assist you in making the necessary financial arrangements and in filing your third party insurance claims. The hospital will bill your designated third party payer; however, the financial responsibility for services rendered ultimately belongs to you as the patient, and it is the hospital's policy to accept payment in full.
SRMC strives to provide timely and accurate bill processing. If you should have a question about your bill or your insurance information; and/or if you would like a copy of your detailed bill, please call 330-332-7601. Our Patient Accounting Representatives will be happy to answer your questions.
Salem Regional Medical Center’s price estimation tool provides you with an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs for hundreds of our most common services. This easy-to-use tool helps you know what to expect before your treatment or procedure. Click Here to access the SRMC Price Estimation Tool.
The information provided in the Chargemaster link below is a comprehensive list of charges for each inpatient and outpatient service or item provided by our hospital, also known as our Chargemaster. It is not designed as a tool for patients to comparison shop between hospitals or to estimate what health care services are going to cost them out of their own pockets.
For more information about the cost of your care, please contact our Customer Service staff by calling 330-332-7601. Uninsured or under insured patients should consult with our Customer Service staff to determine whether they qualify for discounts. Please note that all patients can receive care regardless of their ability to pay.
Note: The cash price for COVID-19 testing is $150.
